Boulevard Plaza Towers

Client: Emaar
Year: 2012
Location: Boulevard Plaza Towers, Dubai
Script: Jali Diwani
Scope: 21 canvas artworks, including the triptych The Letter-Fall

For Emaar’s Boulevard Plaza Towers, Narjes designed and implemented a series of 21 canvas artworks. The works are letter-based abstractions in Jali Diwani script, in which the forms of the letters are explored for their own beauty rather than for their meaning. They hang in the tower lobby and corridors.

Among them is the twelve meters high triptych The Letter-Fall (شلال الحروف), the only work in the series that carries a poem in full: Pride of Generations (فخر الأجيال) by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince.
